A guy in high school who I had a major thing for told me I reminded him of Hannibal Lecter.
I was very quiet and seld-possessed (still am), and everyone thought I was scary-smart, so I think it was meant as a compliment. Maybe.

When I had a lot of curly hair, one or two kids teased me with comparisons to the skater Elvis Stojko. I guess if I’d been quicker on my feet I could’ve asked why they knew so much about figure skating. 
Anyway that was a long time ago and I have very short hair these days. As an adult, I don’t get a lot of celebrity comparisons, flattering or otherwise. Kinda sucks when we do the quarterly “who would play you in a movie” thread.
That made me choke on my coffee.

Oh, and alice_in_wonderland, Kate Jackson was IMNSHO the best-looking Angel.

I was at a barbecue this summer and was shootin’ the shit with some guy who I’d never met before and he said, "Do you ever watch Deadliest Catch?
“Yeah, all the time,” says I, “I love that show.”
“You look just like Captain Phil!”
“Oh, the fat, chain-smoking alcoholic who never shaves? Great. Thanks.”
And the bitch of it is, a few weeks later I was at a friends house and his 9 year old daughter out of no where says, “You look just like Captain Phil on Deadliest Catch.”
So I shot her.
(I don’t smoke and I’m not fat … I offer no disclaimers on the “alcoholic who never shaves” thing.)
I’ve posted this before, but I was standing at a urinal, when a co-worker told me that I looked like that guy in Cheap Trick.
At a loss for words (I’m not exactly Robin Zander material) he said “You know…the Drummer!”.

I used to get that one a lot and was always insulted (she has bad teeth!), but then I figured she wouldn’t be the romantic interest in so many movies if people thought she was ugly. I also get Alanis Morrisette and Elizabeth Berkley, which is odd because they don’t look anything alike and are a bit older than me. :dubious:

PS. All of the Seth Rogan lookalikes, I wouldn’t take that as an insult, he’s a cutie!
