Anybody else watching this?
I am. I personally liked Poppy Montgomery as a blonde much better than a red head (Without a Trace). Although from the Google pictures I’ve seen, I wonder if she really is a red head (albeit a lighter shade than what she has on Unforgettable.
I like the premise, it’s kind of fun. I think her character needs a female friend (the dark haired cop); and should focus less on her damaged psyche from her dead sister.
I’ll give it a few more episodes. I didn’t care for the 10/4 episode. To me it was the weakest ep so far. Next week’s episode looks pretty good. I have high hopes.
tangent - on public radio here in Wisconsin, yesterday I heard a story about a guy here with similar amazing memory.
Nothing spectacular, but a decent little procedural. The stuff with the sister makes me wonder why so many people putting shows together feel absolutely bound to wedge in an arc story; it’s certainly not what I’m going to be watching the show for. The visual gimmick where there are two of her in the shot passes my “Am I going to get tired of seeing this every week?” test. I wonder if they’ll ever have her revisit herself revisiting herself so there can be three?
I like it. But am having trouble seeing it as a long-term show.
I am entertained by it. It’s diverting, but nothing special.
I’m having a hard time getting past her appearance. What NYC cop, however mavericky, insists on wearing a tank top at all times? And are we supposed to be examining her part for evidence of her roots growing out?
Mrs. FtG likes these sort of shows so we’re watching it.
Normally I do crosswords and such while they play and only look up once it a while to check on things. But for this one I have to pay attention. Look closely so see what she’s looking at. Partially getting the trend of things. Okay, the cable guy, the cop by the plastic tarp, the delivery man with the stack of boxes, the guy with the flowers. They’re going to be important later. Oh, 3 out of 5 ain’t bad.
But they are going to have formula issues. She can’t be in the right place at the right time for everything. How many dying neighbors can she have?
