Once upon a more innocent time, you could name your business after the initials of the owners. But nowadays that’s sometimes not such a great idea.
So I’ve seen a ticket from ** S & M Amusements**, and there’s an S & M Liquors near me. And Yesterday I commuted home behind a truck for some S & M business, but I couldn’t make out exactly what it was.
I’m sure there a few B & D businesses out there, as well.
A friend of my mother opened up a hairdressing salon and called it… Scissor Sisters.
No doubt they took their inspiration from the popular band, but the popular band took their name from the slang term for a certain lesbian sex position.
