Unintentionally Funny moments in movies and TV shows

In Buffy’s season 5 closer, Buffy died and was burried. the show finished with a shot of her epitaph :

Buffy Anne Summers.
She saved the World.
A lot"

(this was the first time that I personally had heard her mifddle name, I’m sure many Buffy fans knew it already)

It was a heroic/ tragic bittersweet moment, spoiled by one thing… In my country (UK) Ann Summers is a chain of upmarket stores selling sexy lingerie and marital aids.

In Kill Bill, there is a scene where Uma Thurman speaks with another character, while there is a loaf of Bimbo brand bread clearly visible in shot. In the UK, * bimbo* means dumb blonde. (Actually, that might have been intentional, does America use the same term?)

Any others?

¡Aquí hay Bimbo! It’s a Mexican baked-goods company.

Bimbo means the same in American English as it does in UK English. The bread was a real brand, but I’m certain that Tarantino used the loaf of bread from Bimbo for the reason you suspect.

OOPS.

sorry, I intended to start a new thread, don’t know quite how I managed to attach it to this one.

Apologies for the hijack, folks.
