Don’t care if your feelings get hurt, Confederates and Nazis are special cases, not enough to direct violence to them, but to deal with them with the understanding that they are there to promote racism, slavery and genocide. Not to mention also a complete and absolute plan on stopping any freedom of speech if they do take power.
And again: this case is about an extremist using violence to prevent the free speech of the ones against the extremists.

I pray to the god I don’t believe in that my 91 year old Holocaust survivor mom didn’t see any images of people carrying guns and torches wearing Nazi symbols marching in her country. She lived through it once and still has nightmares and cries for her mother and sister, killed in front of her. Now, near the end of her life, for fucks sake let her have some peace.

Your claim that they showed with the clear intent to incite violence means what exactly? Anyone can make that claim. That doesn’t mean it’s accurate. I’m not innocent of assault if I claim someone’s dress or flag incited me and I attack them.
So whoever initiated the attack is the guilty party. I’d just call it mutual combat at this point. Both sides showed up for a fight and got one.
Anyways, I’m not going to convince you that fundamental liberties are important. And you aren’t going to change my mind that they are.
