Piece Nazi shit, the shittiest kind of shit.
Of course there is a push back. Reprehensible people do not like having their inhumanity demonstrated to them.
What surprises me is that they are doubling down on the evil and you seem not just okay with that you actually support it.
It’s the old standard, “lone wolf defense”. I call bullshit on it.
Well looky here. What Nazi rag did you boilerplate THIS shit from???
I suggest to you that if someone’s response to being called a Nazi is to go, “Hey, you know what, I’m annoyed now, burn the jews” they were not precisely a shining example of reasonability before that point.
Go and ‘Sieg Heil’ yourself away in the corner you little Wehraboo.
Threads like this are often very shocking to me, in terms what comes out of the woodwork. Like Latro – I don’t know this person from Adam, other than vaguely recalling that I’ve seen many posts from him (?). And now I read this and it hits me like a ton of bricks: I have this vague recollection that this poster exists, but never in a million years would I have pegged him as being so odious and disgusting in his views. It’s just unbelievable to me that such offensive inhumanity as what he’s presenting here has been revealed so terribly. I suppose the scales have fallen from my eyes, and it is very disappointing.
Conservative Idiot a week ago: “Black Live Matter is undeniably a racist organization. It’s in the name, people!”
Conservative Idiot today: “Sure, these guys were throwing Nazi salutes, waving Nazi symbols, and identifying themselves as Nazis. But come on now. They aren’t REAL Nazis. Stop being so hyperbolic, people! And oh yeah…FREE SPEECH!!”
I am laughing at the fools who dared to show their faces and are now reaping the consequences. They are weeping over their “FREE SPEECH” being taken from them, ignoring the fact that their employers have the exact same right. You have the right to speak your mind, and you have the responsibility to deal with the consequences, just like civil disobedients expect to go to jail when they break the law they are protesting. Only special snowflakes expect any different.
Freedom of speech is necessary. Let’s not, however, get confused about what it actually does for us.
No, freedom of speech doesn’t mean that some shining beacon of rationality is going to talk racists out of being racist. We don’t allow racists to speak because sunlight is the best disinfectant, or because things growing in the dark are just more virulent and hateful, so we need to get them out into the open.
No. The only reason to allow racists to speak is that we think the consequences to speech we do like would be too great if we forbid racist speech.
Racist speech is a byproduct of freedom of speech. It’s not the point. It’s simply a risk. Just as there are medicines with more or less horrible side-effects, there can be speech laws with more or less harmful byproducts. Where we set that level is an ongoing conversation. There isn’t, in my opinion, one perfect setting for the dial. It’s all a matter of trade-offs.
On another topic, if you ask someone who just hit themselves with a hammer if they want the pain to go away quickly, they will likely say yes. That doesn’t mean they really want to have their toe cut off. There are things we say that we just don’t mean because we are venting or in pain.
But I do think some of the types of venting in this thread could be rightfully viewed as warning signals. If we let ourselves get too carried away in venting I do think that becomes how we think. Maybe not instantly, but I think it grows easier with time. What we reveal under stress is significant, because so often we are making decisions under stress. Who we are when we are angry is, well, who we are.
Wow. So some Social Justice Warrior hurt your feelings so bad you put on a Nazi uniform and picked up a Nazi flag, just to show them.
Talk about your fucking snowflakes.
I’m gonna think out loud here.
At what point, does the talk about "second amendment solutions " and a new civil war (always about “them” or Trump being opposed in ANY way) finally become seditious talk? At what point is it finally seen as fomenting rebellion?
At what point does “shoot the libruls” and “burn the kikes” become incitement to violence?
I really want to know where the line is.
To be fair, recent studies suggest that those who are schizophrenic are more prone to be violent than those who are not. The guy could be a shithead whose shitheadedness has been amped up by schizophrenia.
Do it. Go balls to the wall. Then at least we can drop the pretense of “alt right” which is just Hitler Lite anyway.
This weekend some of you finally showed your true faces.
You candy ass snowflake.
Actually, they’re Daleks. Most Americans won’t get the reference. But whether you call them a disease or Daleks a Doctor is still the cure. A Doctor who isn’t afraid to call out evil and sometimes make hard choices.
Worried you might get arrested for some of your earlier comments in this thread?
I agree, Nazi or Confederate. There’s no difference today.
They’ll be in Boston this weekend, and we’ll see if their act is cleaned up for PR purposes.
You keep waving that Confederate flag, Hewey.
I like and fully endorse Freedom of Speech.
When people are not free to speak their minds, you never know who they really are.
When they feel free to say anything, you know who the bastards are.
Freedom of Speech has NEVER meant freedom from consequences. The people who whine about how they’re ‘not that person’ are liars. The people who complain that they didn’t know it would cause them problems or that they should be forgiven are dumbfucks who, all too often, have this idea in their head that most people are like them but just won’t say those things out loud. Then they’re shocked that this isn’t true and/or think they’re being picked on by people who secretly believe as they do.
I’ve been doing a lot of looking at people’s personal pages on FB the last few days. There are a lot of proud racists out there.
Now that I can appreciate!
First I don’t spend much time trying to figure out The Donald. There’s a reason I couldn’t vote for the dude. Well there’s actually a few. But that’s not the point of this thread.
Bullet 1. Politicians of all stripes benefit from the ignorant and deplorable. I can’t blame a politician for his or her supporters. I think racial or identity based politics of all sorts is stupid.
Bullet 2. Indifference to white supremacy? I don’t know where he stands on it. I guess that’s acknowledging his indifference. I think there are crimes of larger magnitude that don’t get 1/20th of this discussion and I find that interesting.
Bullet 3. My opinion on that is clear to anyone who can read a Dick and Jane book. But to reiterate, I don’t care about flag burning. I care about murder. I don’t care about the skin color of who did the driving and who got hit.
Bullet 4. I think Trump is a symptom and a backlash. I don’t think Trump is good for the nation outside of filling the judiciary.
Bullet 5. I’m not a fan of so-called hate crime laws. Murder someone or assault someone and the harm that done is sufficient reason for society to act in a rehabilitative or punitive fashion. Wiccan, Satanist, Christian, Nazi,
Communist, Muslim, Jew why does that matter for a particular case?
To expand on 5, if there is a pattern perhaps finding a mechanism to undermine the religion or ideology is necessary.
LOL.
Flail some more.
