President Donald Trump on Friday labeled the Iran war “small potatoes,” the latest attempt to minimize a six-month conflict that caused a spike in gas prices and led to the deaths of 18 American service-members.
“A lot of people don’t call it a war. I call it a military conflict because it’s small potatoes for us. It’s not a big thing,” he said in the Oval Office.

The attacks on Iran are causing an increase in oil prices-
“Success does not cause inflation. Stupidity causes inflation,” Trump vented in the Oval Office, as he declared it “crazy” that the stock markets fell Friday on inflation concerns.
In general, most economists would disagree, but in this one special case of gas prices- he may be right.

Donald Trump has acknowledged that the U.S. hasn’t won the war against Iran, despite having claimed otherwise dozens of times.
Trump, 80, posted on Truth Social about the conflict, which he claimed at the outset would wrap up in “four to five weeks.” It has now lasted over six months.
“Oil prices will drop precipitously, like everything else is dropping (but more!), when we WIN the war with Iran,” he wrote on Monday. “Three Dollars a gallon, but ultimately, below Two Dollars a gallon. It will all happen quickly, and Iran will never have a Nuclear Weapon. MAGA!”
