People not US citizens opining on this thread is like me, stuck in Nebraska, opining about Brexit.

I, an American, opine about Brexit all the time (maybe not on this board, though - I don’t recall). I’ve got no problem sticking my two cents in on the internal politics of Sweden or Zaire - so I’ve also got no problems with non-citizens chatting about the politics of the USA. Especially since we are something of an international 800 lb gorilla.

You have no idea what Trump’s opinion of mail-in voting is? None whatsoever?

For one thing, if at any point in the last 15 years anybody checked the voter rolls against death notices, your father would be unlikely to get a ballot. For another: at the risk of winding up fined and/or in jail, you could possibly influence an election by . . . one vote. Or, I suppose, as many as three, if you not only got but also forged signatures on ballots for your mother and brother; thereby tripling your risk of getting caught on all three, or rather more than tripling since you’re not as good at their signatures.

And why would I want to bother doing it? I was commenting that I do my dad’'s signature as good as he did when he was alive [well except for the time he broke his arm, then he looked like a polygraph trace]
