Unsolicited e-mail: CVs from India

Another one jsut arrived in the mailbox.

Seem like I’ve been getting a different CV, if not a message along the lines of “you will please be considering me very much please” e-mail every few weeks for the past year. I don’t get any other spam at the address; just CVs from India.

So … what’s the deal here? Does anyone else get random CVs sent to them from India?

Unless I miss my guess, this one is complete bullshit from the ground up. This is the name of a Simpsons character. Didn’t “Quickie Mart” pop into your brain when you read this?

I changed the name to protect the ignorant … I mean innocent.

Just so you know, never in my entire life have I heard an Indian say “you will please be considering me very much please”. And I was born and brought up in India.

We speaks the Inglish very much good yes we do.

However, googling bits of this person’s CV gave me the document you received. It seems unlikely that a person with the qualifications and experience he has would need to go about sending CVs to random people on the internet. Maybe someone you know is yanking your chain? (Though how this qualifies as a chain-yanking, I can’t for the life of me figure out.)

And Q.E.D., for shame, forsooth!! The Kwik-E-Mart, man!

D’oh! :smack:

Perhaps a google on you email address would shed light? Maybe somehow you’ve got on a list of likely employers of Indian nationals?

As aasna says, he’s not likely to be someone so desperate to be sending it to completely random addresses.
