Of course, everyone knows now about Fahrenheit 9/11. In case some of you don’t read Cafe Society, it now has a North American distribution deal and will be released by Lion’s Gate and IFC Films on June 25, in at least 1000 theaters (Bowling For Columbine’s highest theater count was 248)

In that same week is the June 23rd release of The Hunting of the President.

The Hunting of the President is a 90-minute documentary claiming to expose “the 10-year campaign to destroy Bill Clinton.” (Yahoo New article)

Last and probably least is Michael Moore Hates America. According to the web site: “Contrary to its title, Michael Moore Hates America isn’t a hatchet job on the filmmaker. It’s a journey across the nation where we meet celebrities, scholars and average folks alike, all of whom are living the American Dream and proving that America is a great place to be! In the process, we’ll look at Michael Moore’s claims about the country, its people, and our way of life.”

The Hunting of the President? Eh, I already read the book.

Pity it isn’t getting the same wide release Moore’s movie is, though, since IMO more people need to be exposed to the slimy tactics the Republican right did during the Clinton years.

Oh, and I’m sure Fox News is already crankin’ up their anti-Michael Moore propaganda even as we speak.

I think its funny they refer to themselves as a coalition in the article, that is a nice jab.

Are there any groups planning to buy tickets for the public a la “The Passion”? Certainly not the “love thy neighbor but pass thine ammo” christian groups.

If not, Moore’s preaching to the choir.
