Update: I have a Consulting Job Now

That sounds so exotic. :slight_smile:

I got it through networking. My Toastmasters friend hooked me up with a local business owner, who needs help getting the office organized. It’s just until June 30, part time, but it gets me out of the house. I don’t plan on staying past June 30, because I want to get back into the realm of benefits and insurance.

I also got my final severance package from my employer, and it is enough to pay off our first mortgage! I’ll be doing a wire transfer on Tue. (Ivylad and I are financially set enough to make it on his retirement income and the consulting job, so killing the mortgage payment will free up A LOT.)

Now, to cut loose the cord after Outlander ends on Jan 28. We’ll keep the wifi though.

Onwards and upwards!
