Sorry for your loss. Terrible to hear.

Sorry to hear it,** gonzomax**. Condolences to you and your family

I’m so sorry you lost your brother, gonzo. I lost a sister many years ago; she died of cancer, too. You and your family have my deepest sympathy.

I’m so sorry to read your news. Condolences to you and your family.

I’m so sorry, gonzomax.

This is also LOUNE’s uncle, yes?

Yes. his only one. I am the last of my family. It feels weird .
Ugliness is starting already. My cousin ,a Southern Baptist ,is in town , New York City, pushing for a fancy eulogy and funeral He specified none at all. His wife is making the decisions and is trapped in a very emotional time. She said he was getting a wooden box and put into her family cemetery. That is what he wanted. I smell a battle coming on and I don’t want to be involved.

Stay strong Gonzo. My deepest sympathy to you and your SiL and all the crew.

Oh gawd, I hate that. Why people decide to act an ass at a time like this is beyond me. I hope your sister-in-law sticks to her guns.

This is really painful to read. I’m very sorry for your loss, gonzomax. And I hope your family doesn’t make this any harder than it has to be.

I’m sorry for your loss, gonzomax. I hope you find some solace in the thought that his long ordeal is over.

As for those relatives… I’m just glad that you can support your sister-in-law. This kind of situation tends to bring out the worst in a lot of people. Take care of yourself, now.

So, so sorry for you, and the rest of your family.

gonzomax, dear gonzomax.

I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and his loved ones during this difficult time.

I’m sorry for your loss, gonzomax. May you have the strength, peace and grace to get through the drama you mentioned. Your family is in my thoughts.

This tumor was found last September. When he gets buried his tonsils, adenoids and appendix will be buried with him. He has been incredibly healthy for 67 years. He did not even have the normal childhood illnesses. He never smoked, drank moderately and exercised every day. Of course we both suck up our parents smoke while we were growing up. My dad smoked 3 packs of Luckys a day. My mother was not far behind. He died of lung cancer at the age of 53. My mother died of emphysema at 83. He and I never smoked. ( a little weed and hash) . Then he got this inoperable brain tumor. The doc suggested pollution might have contributed. He lived in NYC for the last 40 years. This was not supposed to happen.

I’m so sorry, gonzomax. I lost both maternal grandparents and my favorite maternal great-aunt to cancer, and it’s terrible. I hope that someone finds a way to get rid of cancer within our lifetimes so other people don’t have to go through this terrible disease.
