If it wasn’t for the Red Wings or getting to the bridge into Canada, most people in the area would never go south of 8 Mile into Detroit. Although personally, I do like going down into the Mexicantown neighborhood of Detroit. 
But then, it’s on the Canadian border next to the bridge so that makes it ok.
