Is it me or does MPSIMS seem to be down more often than any of the other forums?
Presently, I can access every other forum save MPSIMS.

Well, I have my own thread about this in “About The Board,” but I guess if I bitch about it here it won’t sound like I’m ragging on poor Tuba.
I am really getting sick and tired of the constant board crashes and slowdowns—I only have certain moments at work when I can post, and half the time, I sit there waiting for the damn thing to come up! I don’t have this trouble with any other Web site—maybe because the SDMB doesn’t make a profit, the people responsible don’t give a good goddam about fixing the problem?
Cripes . . . No wonder so many people have been sneaking off to Snopes!
I want to see how many more moms have posted about secretly lusting after Steve Burns! Plus I sent that thread to moms that don’t usually post at SD so that they could get a chuckle too. Now I’m going to get e-mails, “That link you gave me didn’t work…”
WHAT new language requirements? I don’t see anything in the FAQ, and now I’m worried that MPSIMS is down because I said “fuck” in a post this morning and Eutychus closed up shop to go looking for it.
Should I forward the mods the LBMB webmaster’s number? Maybe get some divine inspiration as to solving the problems we’re experiencing.

Actually this is my fault. For once I actually tried to post a link that would be relevant and helpful regarding the topic at hand. I found a list of the top grossing movies of all time, adjusted for inflation, and was going to add it to the thread over there, and as soon as I hit “Submit”, the whole thing went to hell. I think the SDMB computer gremlins got confused when they saw me trying to do something useful and took the rest of the day off.
Gee, and here I thought I had identified some new phenomenon with being unable to open MPSIMS and GQ. It’s called “crashing” is it. I guess I can not bother checking the dorky “why is this happening” thread I just opened in ATMB.
I was going to start a new thread about how I miss MPSIMS and hate wallowing in the Pit but I don’t want to break this forum too. The problem is my vocabulary doesn’t really stretch to meet the requirements here, being more of a “heck” and “gosh” man myself.
I’ve answered all the questions in GQ. I’ve resolved all the Great Debates. I know all I want to know about this message board. All that’s left is to post in the Pit or get back to work.
