I posted a poll on the urban75 forums, which was edited in a way by a moderator that made me look like a complete cunt, ie adding spurious options that I could not edit out.
After daring to make a post politely requesting that the poll was restored to it’s original status, as it appears that I published the poll, I was banned.
The post where I complained about a moderator editing the poll was also deleted.
Beware that if you post a poll on urban75, the moderators may edit it to whatever they feel like, on a whim.
Do moderators edit posts here so it appears the OP wrote things that they did not write?
Nope. They’re pretty classy here, as a rule. If they see something they don’t like, they’ll generally just warn you or lock the thread. Very rarely, they’ll delete it entirely, but that’s almost always reserved for advertising; if a spambot gets in, for example.
Morlock, if I were you, I would have inserted throughout my OP several random phrases like “I EAT MY OWN BOOGERS” and “GOD HATES LIBERALS.” 
Only if we think it’s funny. 
…really we almost never edit posts here. If we do, it’s usually done to fix links or coding problems (often at the request of the poster). We sometimes break links that aren’t work-safe, and once in a while we remove portions of copyright-protected material (like song lyrics or articles) if somebody posts a large portion. We allow shorter sections as fair use.
FTR: the moderator made it very clear that she’d added the poll.
It was a trolling thread to begin with, after several posts that verged on trolling.

If it was the poll about how many abortions people had experienced, it was ill conceived, in poor taste and didn’t contain the nil option.
It was trolling, pure and simple. Urban75 is better off without you.

Drama from other boards needs to be handled there, not here. We’ve heard both sides, so this is getting locked.
