Is UR2 complaining about wealthy kids that buy their way into college and take a space that might have gone to his son? No.
Is he complaining about less qualified legacy students that are taking a place and scholarships that might have gone to his son? No.
Is he complaining that alumni and donors are wielding influence to get their friend’s kids scholarships that might have gone to his son? No
Is he complaining about the rigged system of for-profit colleges and universities that make it impossible for him to educate his son without financial help? No.
But some philanthropists and organizations decided to help children without the advantages his son had get a quality education. Children that truly need a little extra help.
THIS is what he decides to complain about. Some person or organization he doesn’t know and that owes him nothing tries to help someone less advantaged, and all UR2 can think of is that it’s unfair that they didn’t give that money to his kid.
The cluelessness and selfishness is mind boggling.
