Urgent! Hot Shot (?) brand water heater for RV- recommended?

We’d like a quick answer on this as we have limited time to get one.

Has anyone here used a Hot Shot(?) brand water heater? It’s supposed to flash-heat the water so you don’t have to wait for long reheating and can take long showers up to 100 gallons. Anyone have experiences with how this works and if this is both a safe and a quality product? We’ve been told by someone who has it that it doesn’t work well with ordinary shower heads, but only with a head that barely drizzles on you in order to keep it continuously hot- does anyone’s experiences here confirm this?

We have a Sunbeam Hot Shot. It’s a 1-2 cup quick water heater for tea and such. I think you have the wrong brand name in mind.

Me too! You’d have to be really tiny to use it for showering purposes.

Never heard of “Hot Shot”

Atwood and Suburban are the two leading names in RV / camper water heaters, and neither seems to be in the tankless heater business.

Looks like the only tankless RV water heater is from someone called Precision Temp.
