URGENT please help...computer stuck in endless loop trying to install Document Viewer

My other computer has flipped out. When I try to start it, it gets stuck attempting to install or set up something called Document Viewer. This throws a .NET error dialog box saying that an unhandled exceptoin has occurred in a component in my application. There are only options to continue, or look at the details. I can’t cancel out, and I can’t stop this from happening. At the moment, I can’t even shut it down, except by pulling the plug or pressing the power button.
The computer running XP and was working fine yesterday.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Something in your Startup Items might be causing that. Have you tried booting into safe mode? I think that you need to hit F10 in the Windows bootloader to get into safe mode.

Its F8 actually once you get into safe mode see if you can delete it. Try to delete the folder in the Program Files and do a run command and type msconfig and disable it if you see it.

Better yet just hit a valid restore point–if you’re talking an Adobe product you’ll never get it out of there without a full fumigation tent and restore is easier by a long shot.
