How big is the user, what is the users metabolism like, how much and often did the user smoke?
No, it does not matter if it is eaten or smoked. It makes a difference if there is lots of regular use. If the use is heavy (four times per week) and for a long time (at least months), and if the user is fat, then it is very likely that the user will test positive for 60 to 90 days. That same use in one that is thin with fast metabolism could test clean in as little as 20 days.
The test clean drinks and pills do not seem to be a reliable means of passing - they all involve diluting the sample by consuming lots of fluid just before the test. It is possible to do that for free.
If somebody needs to pass a test, the sure way to do it is with substitution. Google for a device known as the urinator.
