Oh yeah, and if you ask me why I’m asking this, I plead the 5th amendment.
From 2 days to 11 weeks depending on individual metabolism.
and how much you smoke
Weight is a factor too, as well as physical activity. Heavier, more sedentary people will not “shed” the evidence of marajuana use as quickly as in-shape, active people.
Drinking lots of water and exercising help the body shed the chemicals, but don’t expect to drink a quart of water, run around the block and end up “drug-free.”
Correct because MJ is stored in fat. Your body is one big timed release capsule.
First of all this is my first post so hello everyone.
As for the actual topic the estimants given are accurate, but just make sure they dont do a hair follicle test because that can test positive for upwards of 6 months.:smack:
And watch out for the hair test, too, that’s supposed to be able to detect it for 1-3 months.
Back in my smoking days I passed several test with only a day or two notice. Drinking lots of water cleans our your system. Of course, I wasn’t a heavy user.
It can also make the results inconclusive due to the diluted urine. This will usually result in them asking for another test be done. However, by the time results have come back you will have bought yourself about a week which should be more than enough time to be in the clear. (Assuming you stopped smoking!)
“THC, tetrahydrocannabinol, is a by-product of marijuana metabolism in the body. With just one smoke, it can be detected in urine for up to 3-5 days. With moderate use, 3 times per week it can be detected for 8-12 days and with heavy use (daily) the urine can test positive for 21-30+ days.”

Don’t worry too much about the hair test. They’re not considered particularly reliable, and a lot of employers will not bother with them for fear of being sued for discrimination or something. Failing a hair test can easily be explained by frequent exposure to marihuana smoke (as in a college dorm) or by working around drugs, in a lab or manufacturing (not sure if that one will work for you ;)). Be advised that a lot of places do random drug testing after you’re employed, so it’s best to just lay off the stuff (your lungs will thank you, too :))
Really? My high school used a system that washed your hair cuttings to eliminate the “I was just exposed to a lot of it” and then checked it. It was good for about 1-3 months. At least, that’s what they told us. I hate to do it, but cite?
What if you have really long hair??
You could have evidence from, what, 5 years ago! That doesn’t really seem fair to me
