Here’s how I’d say it:

“tridub straightdope (that’s all one word) com”

“tridub”–www, if you speak English you can see the derivation.
Since most of the major domains are fairly known, when spoken on their own a period is presumed.

now the following:

http://mypage.iu.edu/~brmalone/

“mypage (that’s all one word) iu (the two letters) ed-yoo slash squiggle bee-arr-malone slash”
