All I could come up with is “Can You Phil the Love Tonight” Mickelson.
How about Bob “Weir the Wild Things Are?”

I just caught that, but the edit window was already closed. Way to step on my own line.

No prob, just figured you were listening to the Grateful Dead while watching the Open and got confused.
Good thing you didnt bring up Jerrio Garcia.
Yesterday, was Vijay Singhing in the Rain?
Tiger is spinning his wheels. Right now is the time to make a move. The course is vulnerable and many players are moving up. When the rain comes in this afternoon ,everything changes. It is now or never. Tiger is not even in cut range yet. You have to be + 2 or better. He is still at 3. Barnes -8 achieved earlier put pressure on the field.
Tiger bogiies now at 4. The rain is coming in and the wind picking up. He blew his chance.
So he birdies 2 in a row.
Cut is at + 4 . Top 60 and everybody within 10 of lead. The top 60 are at +4 so Tiger will make cut easily.
You just had to know that someone in the morning would fire if the weather permitted, which is exactly what Ricky Barnes did. Now he has to tread water and make pars.
I think Barnes is probably going to back up. I think anything under par should be a pretty good score going into the final round.
Agreed, but I’m pretty sure his mindset is to tread water.
Duval shot 70 and is at -3. I am sure Barnes and Duval were on everybodies short list.
It would be kind of cool to see Duval end up with this one.
That would be cool.I think he has just about used up all his exemptions.
He’s a local boy to me. And yes, he had to qualify to get into this tournament.
Duval still has that loose straight swing. No muscling it at all.
The U.S. Open continues to identify the best golfers, despite the weather. If you look at the cut list, hardly anyone who is a top player missed it. Appleby was one. Justin Rose is another. Justin Leonard and Darren Clarke are past their prime, as is, sadly, Ernie Els.
All the top guys made it, though they aren’t at the top of the leaderboard.
This next round could be really interesting - lots of guys who haven’t won a major but are really good are sitting just a ways back - Stricker, Garcia, Adam Scott, Villegas and Anthony Kim. Watch Rory McElroy - he will be the next big name in golf. Then you’ve got guys like Mickleson and Ogilvy and Goosen in there as well. Who knows what Tiger’s going to do?
I sure wish the greens would firm up, though.
Might be a little too much even for Tiger but my is this an exciting tournament.
Why are the guys at +1 going off first when the cut was +4?
