I had assumed it was still DeSantis running. Was he term-limited out?
My state doesn’t have any statewide elected offices up this year - the only statewide votes are three referenda, all of which are right-wing culture war bills that are expected to fail.
The most exciting race we have going here is for county sheriff.
Yes.
Right now it’s looking like about a D+11 year, which is about in line with the NYT times polling but about 3-4 points better than the polling average.
So it looks like NJ has 11 of 12 seats Dem and Corey Booker holds the Senate for Dems.
A couple points maybe? I think the polling is actually pretty spot on. Just a lot of people didn’t believe it.
Johnson County is suburban Kansas City and tends to lean blue (they have the one D rep in KS in Sharice Davids). To me the better news was that Hamilton was up by about 14 points in Sedgwick County (Wichita) which is much more red.
Yes.
So far every single uncalled House district in NC still has the D candidate ahead (and all the called seats are D). A few of the predictions have changed from Lean R or Likely R to Lean D or Likely D. I am amazed. We might end up flipping a couple more seats here.
Nc is stunning right now. Not a red spot on the map.
While I was reading this, I got a text from Ager announcing his re-election, thanking his supporters and begging for money for his continued campaign costs. I really have come to loathe the Democratic fundraising apparatus.
I know it’s a good election night when I add Fox News to my browsing stations ( I’ve been jumping between CNN, MSNBC and ABC (I like David Muir and he hasn’t “complied in advance” with Trump Adminstration like the other network news stations. ) Anyway, Sean Hannity was trying to wax philosophical and was blathering about political cycles and trying to come up with silver linings but I think they’re going to get really butthurt as the evening progresses.
Shocking that NC is looking all blue. 14 seats and the senate race.
78% in SC and Andrews is leading by 7 points.
Keisha lance bottoms has won the gov. race!!!
Hern (R) wins OK, which is a hold.
In referenda, Massachusetts voters were asked if they wanted to make pot illegal again and relax gun control laws. They said FUCK NO!
I can’t believe it but Graham looks fucked. SC going blue?
Which state?
Georgia
Georgia, which gives Ossoff an opening to run for president without handing his Senate seat to a Republican.
Thanks. I think I remember seeing that earlier in the thread, I just didn’t remember the name.
