Kid - yes, indeedy. Also, very serious high-minded writer folks like to send (and this pre-dates text messaging) marginally literate, unpunctuated, all lower-case emails.
For myself, I’d just as soon posters use their valuable time reading the OP in a thread, thinking about it, thinking about what they, themselves might be able to contribute, and doing some more thinking
