I want to put together a list of all the movies that I have watched. I would like to use IMDB for reference because it is more thorough, but it’s too thorough. Does anyone know how to display a list of just the North American theatrical releases? I know IMDB lets you look at lists by year, country, alphabetical, etc. but there doesn’t seem to be any way to apply multiple filters on their listings. Wikipedia also lists movies by year and its lists are much more succinct, but I have also found that the Wikipedia lists are not 100% complete (for example, Scavenger Hunt does not appear on the Wikipedia list of 1979 movies; there is a Wikipedia article for the movie itself, though). While the Wikipedia lists are for the most part complete, I just don’t want to miss the inclusion of some obscure movie in my personal list because it doesn’t appear on Wikipedia’s lists.
