USPS, can I get a delivery confirmation number on international first class?

I’m talking about the international confirmation number in the format:

RI 300 200 100 US

Or is it possible to get a DC# or USPS tracking# for international first class mail?

Thank you Duckster, indeed the answer is no confirmed by a USPS employee in case anyone else reads this thread with the same question.

The USPS will get your letter overseas, but then it’s in the hands of whatever other country to do the actual delivery. Some countries’ postal services can provide tracking and proof of delivery back to the USPS, but a lot can’t or won’t.

If you really need to track something door-to-door, you need to use UPS or FedEx as they handle the item end to end.

USPS International Priority will get you door-to-door tracking, at least for the UK. (I don’t have experience shipping things to any other countries.)
