Utterly debased, I am eating Nestle's Quik with a spoon and cursing myself...

Good Lord, Woman!! You’ve got fudge and you don’t even see it! Melt the baker’s chocalate and dump powdered sugar and a dab of milk (milk not necessary) into it until it forms a ball of thick, warm, delicious fudgy goodness . . . ooh, I think I just climaxed at work. Whoops.

Ah, the morning chocolate fix…hey, it’s not my fault I ran out of carob! Well, actually, it is; but anyway, best breafast “fix” is Choco Coco-Puffs with chocolate milk. But since, I use chocolate soy milk for cereal, at least part of it’s healthy!

Thank you to everyone for being very supportive during my choco crisis.

Thanks for the fudge recipe, DeskMonkey, but I’m technically on a low-fat, zero cholesterol diet, hence my reliance on lowerfat choc like Tollhouse morsels. I can eat them one at a time, very slowly, and still have a satisfying choc experience.

Eh, thanks, Fenris, but it’s not about “drinking” chocolate, it’s about “eating” chocolate. The mouth-feel of that slow melting on the tongue…

um…

Bye, it’s time to go SHOPPING!!! Kroger, better have someone hold the door open, and stand aside!

[sound of squealing tires as Ducky lays down some serious rubber, backing soccer mom Caravan out into street]

It’s Bernard Callebaut - pride of Calgary.

Jeeze, Ginger, these are AMERicans here - we can turn them on to our poorer grades of chocolate, and they’ll think it’s grand compared to their waxy stuff. Then we can keep more of the really good stuff for ourselves.
(Joking! Just joking! Please, no Happy Fun Squad!)

Jesus, Duck Duck, your daughter is out at eleven thirty on a Monday night? All right, maybe there’s a time difference or something…but still, I wonder.

My ten year old has discovered that you can mix Ovaltine Chocolate Powder and Tang. It mixes up to a chocolaty-orange concoction that wasn’t as sickening as I thought it would be, along the lines of a Terry’s Chocolate Orange.
