Back in May or June, a professor at UVA discovered that about 150 of his students had plagerized their term papers. UVA has an honors code, and this would seem like a clear violation. But, I never heard what action was taken against the cheaters. What happened?
A few weeks ago I heard that the Honor Council had cleared a few folks and had also recommended that more than a few have their degrees rescinded. Mr. Jefferson is, no doubt, rolling over in his grave.
