Vacation rentals--can you guess what people search for?

In no specific order [and not what I look for entirely]
Beach frontage
swimming pool or swimming pool access
work out area/gym
air conditioning
grill in outside space [deck or patio]
deck or patio with furniture
updated kitchen with stainless appliances and granite counters
master suite with ensuite with both a shower and a garden tub[pref jacuzzi]
1 full bath per bedroom with 1 powder room on the main entertaining level
pet friendly

They may be referring to in the bathtub.

Well, they were search terms, right? Hot tub and jacuzzi are two different search terms.

Parking in a beach town. Close to the beach. Wireless. More than 1 TV. Sheets and towels provided.

I was going to guess Magic Fingers.

Nobody wants air conditioning? That’s always the first thing I check for.

You know, I’d consider the presence of conference rooms to be a black mark against a vacation rental. I’m there to have fun, not to get status reports on how close I am to my objective of having fun. :stuck_out_tongue:

If I’m going to rent a house/cabin (which I presume is what the OP means, rooms in a hotel/B&B are typically referred to as “hotel rooms”) I’m looking at the following factors:

-how many it sleeps
-how many actual bedrooms it has vs. pull-out couches (nobody wants to be the adult couple sleeping in the living room, it seriously hinders one’s nocturnal recreation activities)
-how much it costs
-what kind of kitchen equipment there is (one skillet, a spatula, and a handful of plates/silverware vs. something you could actually cook a meal in)
-how close it is to the thing I came to see

Less important considerations:

-internet
-outdoor lounging space (porch/deck/patio/yard with some lawn chairs)
-number/type of bathrooms
-parking (generally not an issue because it’s a house and has a driveway)
-niceties such as hot tubs, fireplaces, and pool tables (I like these things, but they’re not anything resembling a priority)

Things I flat don’t give a rat’s ass about:

-tv (I can sit on the couch watching tv at home much, much cheaper than I can rent a house and travel to the beach/mountains and it’s usually all reruns anyway)
-sporting opportunities such as tennis or golf
