this text is indented, while this text is simply a continuation.
Then this is a new line
Well, that didn’t work. Thanks.

how small is this?
Try keeping a prefered tab code handy in a text file.
[ COLOR=White]…[ /COLOR]
That little piece of code makes a nice indent tag. Remove the spaces after the leading brackets of course.
…Here is an example of the code in question in actual use. This does not cause any extra lines, like the indent code does. I also has the value of being an easy to adjust indent size. If you have any macro keys or software, you could even program this into a few keystrokes. Good luck and I think I have enough text to show off the indent.

Except that I can see the white dots. I use a gray background.
¯ ¯ ¯Okay, added disclaimer, *This method works on over 95% of computer setups, but as with all things computer, there are exceptions. This method may on some setups cause dots to appear before the eyes of the beholder.
»»»»You may alternately use other characters, especially if you are doing a copy and paste or a macro. *

Perhaps one of these:
color=#F8F8F8 background SDMB 2007Line 1 color=#F8F8F8 background SDMB 2007
color=#F1F1F1 lighterLine 2 color=#F1F1F1 lighter
color=#DFDFDF darkerLine 3 color=#DFDFDF darker
This is normal
This is indented
Use this for a “hard space”: &**#160;
But one problem, if you Preview, the text is converted to regular blanks, so first copy what you want to preview and re-paste it after you preview.
Well, I find this to be far better, if it works, and will henceforth use it. Then I can do it in the center, with my name, too to have my name start at the center of the page, on a separate line, after using the center code.

Seeing you use [**center] made me click on the vB code link below and find this other solution to the indent problem:
This is regular
This has [**indent] in front
Another alternative (which I learned here) is to just hit back on your browser. That’ll redisplay the codes you entered, and you can make other changes there.
Mine is #bfbfbf.
