Hi, i have just bought this new graphics card which is made by 3dfx (the makers of voodoo cards). It is called a Velocity 100AGP. Anyway, i have been having problems with one game in particular where the textures won’t load correctly, everything else is fine except for the textures.
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light onto the subject and maybe be able to help me fix the problem if possible. I have been doing some reading and have found out that this card runs off a similar chip to the voodoo 3 one so i don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t work.
The game i have been having problems with is called Black and White if that is also any help.

Hehe…Black & White is giving a LOT of people a LOT of problems. It’s the game publisher’s penchant for pushing unfinished products out the door. Why pay for in-house beta testing when you can get the public to pay for the priviledge?
I have Black & White and it hasn’t worked for me at all except for on a brand new PC build. As soon as I update my PC with patches the game stops working (it runs to the internet everytime it is started as a means of copy protection but my PC is locked down to prevent other nasties…such as viruses…from trying that very thing so the game hangs).
