I have a few obsessive-compulsive quirks, one of them being obsessed with the position of venetian blinds in a room. Namely, when it’s cold outside, I turn the slats so that they face “up”, rather than “down”. My reasoning goes that this keeps in heat–which rises–and deflects it back into the room. If the slats are down, not only does it channel the warm air out, but the cold air from outside–which sinks–channels in.
Anyone else feel as strongly about this as me?
