I have SDMB written on an orange piece of paper which I’ll stick between a couple salt shakers or something.
Excellent idea! I was going to be carrying a printout of the front page of the boards. 
I thought of pinning ‘Doper’ to my shirt but then the gendarmes might look askance…
Well, fun was had by all (I assume; no one was actually crying or anything 
) - it was great meeting the bunch of [del]weirdos[/del] dopers. (We missed you, manduck, you ducking and running kinda guy).

It was definitely a pleasure to meet everybody! I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to talk to Quiddity, featherlou, and Jim when I saw you later on at Swans, but I hope you had a good wander about Victoria, and enjoyed the music.
Bwah! It was very nice indeed to put faces and voices to the names, and I am immensely proud of myself for venturing out in public despite dread shyness. (Really!) You were all enormously not-scary!
…no parking ticket waiting on the car, either!
