Video Games that feature .22LR caliber weapons?

Despite their ubiquitousness in real life video games tend to ignore them, mostly because of the fact they’re considered low powered compared to their centerfire successors.

I was curious though, not including mods (which can include anything they wish), are there any games where .22LR weapons can be used by the player? Bonus points if they’re actually identified in-game as .22LR weapons and it’s not just the game using the gun model to fire something else.

…would you believe there’s a site for that?

Right off the bat, the Internet Movie Firearms Database lists the Walther P22 used in one game, “Renegade X” (albeit under a generic name, which isn’t uncommon), and my personal favorite, the American-180 used in “Fallout: New Vegas” (although it might have been chambered in .22 short).

It appears that the more recent “Mafia III” includes the High Standard HDM, as do a few others (mostly WWII era).

Fallout New Vegas has .22LR rounds that are used in the .22 Pistol (based on the Ruger MK III) and .22 SMG (based on the American-180).

Moved to the Game Room from CS.

Dayz has the Sporter .22lr rifle. It’s pretty useless.

State of Decay includes rifles based on the Ruger 10/22 LR and Mossberg model 464 chambered for .22 LR.

From my own playing experience on the basic game, all rifles have a effective range in the game world far shorter than they would in the real world, likely due to limitations on rendering and draw distances, though the later versions of the game may have improved on these.
