Vietnamese Translation Help

I am having difficulty in translating, without much lost in original meaning, the following sentence: “If you’re not the one”

Is it even possible to derive the Vietnamese words without losing the intended message?

It’s not really a complete sentence, is it? I suppose by “the one”, you mean in terms of a soulmate. Vietnamese has a great phrase: có duyên, which means two people fated to be together. So I would translate it, “Nếu chúng mình không có duyên …” and then however you want to finish.

It’s actually the title to the Daniel Bedingfield song “If you’re not the one…” a love song of course.
