It should probably say “West” and then a bunch of numbers. Thanks!

Is the period a decimal point?
I get “west 0 9 7 48 . 0 14”
Yep, that ought to work. Thanks!
Hng tây is west. The numbers are: chín (9) by (7) and bn mi tám (48). Không is zero, mi bn is fourteen.
[edit] auto correct really did a number on my reply
[/QUOTE]
Hmm, I don’t know whether it’s auto correct or the stupid tapatalk app choking on my Vietnamese characters.
Chín by bn mi tám. Không mi bn.
Chín bảy bốn mươi tám. Không mười bốn.
There we go, it was tapatalk not accepting the viet alphabet.
Never thought about it before, but mười bốn is ambiguous isn’t it? Could be 14 or 1, 4.
It could be ten - four but not one - four.
Mười bốn good buddy
No, but could be 14 or 10, 4. It isn’t any more ambiguous than say, twenty-one in English, which could be 21 or 20, 1. Either would said with a pause if it were supposed to be two numbers.
