Someting very strange has happened. I have lost all need or desire for sleep.
This morning, a HUGE essay assignment to turn in as a final for a philosophy class was due. Naturally, I procrastinated it until 10 o’clock last night. It took the whole night, and I did not get any sleep.
It is now 3 AM of the next day. I still have not slept a minute, nor do I plan to, for the rest of the night, at least. I don’t really know how to explain, but I just have no desire to sleep. I’m not tired, or even drowsy, yet it has been 2 days since I last slept. This is not healthy, right?
I swear I haven’t done anything weird with my diet. I haven’t been knocking back Red Bulls or taking Smarties intraveneously or anything like that. What’s going on here? Did I break my biological clock? Will I fall over my desk unconcious during exams tomorrow morning?
Maybe in lieu of claws, laser-eyes, or the ability to stop time, this is my mutant superpower? (hence the thread title)
