Vinyl stickers for cars, anyone use them

I’m interested in the vinyl stickers that go on the painted part of the car, not the glass, and not your basic bumper sticker.

Anyone with experience with these? How durable are they? Will they go through a cheap car wash, or do they need to be hand washed?

The ones I’ve seen last forever. My son had zombie hands that looked like they were coming over his truck bed. I think at least 5 years. He wrecked that truck, so I cant tell how long they would’ve looked good. I had a cat sticker peeping around my hatch on my previous car. At least 2 years.

I had this one on my last car for 15 months before I sold it. It was very sturdy, but I’ll admit I didn’t run it through an automatic car wash.

We covered our too common 2007 car in decals we could see from all angles in parking lots when it was new. Most are fine, a couple cracked a bit and the one on the bonnet over the engine just disappeared leaving it’s silhouette.
