Virex not scanning all files

(I have read the sticky on computer questions.)

In the last month, Virex has increased the number of files it is not scanning from 1 to 17 to 40.

I am using a Mac iBook G4 and Virex 7.2. I am using Mac 10.3.4

The increase seems to come after each Mac security update (I am a .Mac member).

Thoughts?
