Virgin Mobile - Samsung Reverb or Ring?

I guess I’m about ready to take my first baby steps into the smartphone world. I’ve been with Virgin Mobile’s pay as I go plan for about 5 years, and I’m content with the equipment and service I’ve had, so I’d like to stay with them.

I’ve budgeted $100-150 for the phone, and the two options seem to be a Samsung Galaxy Reverb or a Samsung Galaxy Ring. I will be using the phone mostly for minor web browsing, GPS, music, and–believe it or not–as a telephone.

Advice? Thoughts? Suggestions?

I know nothing about those two phones, but I got a new VM Awe almost a month ago, and am really happy with it. I would have expected to pay a lot more than I did. It’s very fast; can’t think of anything I’d want improved. I got on sale for $79.
