Virus, trojan, worm or joke??

I get a random pop-up that states, “The information you have requested is temporarily unavailable.” Or something real close to that. Big pop-up. "Not sure where, Wife thinks it comes on AOHell…??? IE on AOHell? IE alone, not sure, anyone?

I hit the ‘close’ X in the corner and it goes away. What is it and where did I catch it?

What can I do about it?

Ran all the usual stuff and nothing comes up. I be cornfused…

First educated guess: Check if you have a popup blocker, IIRC AOL could have one and you need to tell it to not block the sites you want to see.

Any other ideas? Anyone getting the same thing?

Next time that happens, right click on that window then select properties, and check the URL of the page. Also, check the status bar at the bottom of the window for the red Restricted Sites icon. This would indicate some program is trying access a site on your Restricted Sites list.
