For the past few years, I’ve noticed that almost every time I come down with a cold or even the occasional stomach bug, my skin breaks out a few days later! These aren’t normal zits- there is no depth to them, and they can be easily exfoliated. These are tiny white bumps right on the surface of my skin. They feel dry, scaly and somewhat itchy at times.
What is this? It’s happened many times and it makes me look awful. I’ve tried moisturizers and acne creams with no luck. There is no preemtive strike for these bumps.
Can anyone tell me what these are and what’s causing this? Also, just knowing that it happens to other people would be a comfort.
