VLC Frustrations! I want to play a folder of music on my Android cell phone...

I have gone through all my music CD’s and copied all the good songs into one folder on my Android cell phone (Music/Favorites).

Now I simply want to play the songs in that folder with VCL Media Player (or whatever). I try this and only one song plays, then it STOPS!

Being old fashioned, I try to read the instructions on how to operate the VLC Media Player…

THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS for Android [audio]! Plenty for computers (right click this, right click that, etc.)

Do they not print instructions for things anymore?

Is there an Android music/media player which will play all the songs in a particular folder AND has written instructions on how to use it?

Hmm… I’m not sure about written instructions, their FAQ and tutorials are a little spotty, but I found it dirt-simple to do this in the free version of Rocket Player. Use the folders “tab” up at the top, find your folder, tap on a song to play. It’ll keep playing through the list.

VLC seems to play a whole folder for me. Try long-pressing on the folder (not an individual song, but the folder.) Long-pressing is sort of like right-click on a PC. Then the word Play should pop up, tap that and all the songs in that folder should play.
