Just re-submitted my file.
you better be saying “And all this, and more, will be lost in time. Like tears in the Rain.” or there’ll be hell to pay.
What format?
What should I say?
Heh, no such thing, me lad!
You’ll just have to wait until Frannie uploads the file.
Mpeg please, if possible.
And you can say whatever you like. If you’re stuck, you could read your favourite quote. But I’m sure you have words of wisdom to share of your own. You could sing a little song if you like.
“Imperial troops have entered the base! Imperial troops have…” CRACKLE
Ack, I submitted a WAV. Is that a problem, Frannie dear?
Any file-size restrictions?
(I just got me a headset with a microphone, hence my enthusiasm).
Not a problem. I’ll convert it. It’s just easier if I have it as an mpeg to begin with.
No real filesize restrictions, but try not to make it too gihugic. It is only geocities after all.
Damn, and here I was, the first three volumes of the Encyclopedia Britannica at the ready!
Glad you are bringing this back up, Frannie, I just listened to mine the other night out of nostalgia and was wishing there were more than there are on the page.
Hope more people take advantage of your very cool idea.
Coldfire is added. Hee!
Don’t mind my post. Just doing this as a reminder to myself to send something when I get to a computer with the ability to do this.
See, he doesn’t sound so much like Rutger Hauer from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as he does Rutger Hauer from Blind Fury.
Cheers, you flu-ridden bastid!
Mine’s been sent!
SkipMagic is added!
Coldfire said “Y’ALL”!!
Hey, I’ve got a computer with a mic but are there any handy (read: free) utilities for recording sound files? Or do most Windows machines come with something that can be used to that purpose?
