My favorite site has to be Zap2It.com, which has the best TV listings. I use it every day, because it’s more accurate than the newspaper, and 1 click get a real outline of a movie. Not the plot, but the year and main actors and 1-line description, genre and a star rating. That’s exactly the right info.
Plus it’s got everyting on a well formatted grid with lots of sorting & selecting options.
I think this came up a few weeks ago, though I’m leery of testing the hamsters with a search at this time of day to provide a link.
And that’s the rationale for not voting for the SDMB, no matter how much we love it: until this place is able to translate poster enthusiasm into income for the site, a huge wave of new posters is a potential catastrophe for a site that is as slow as this one is, so much of the time.
Otherwise, I’d vote for the SDMB early and often.

Agreed. We det many new members just by word of mouth and people just stumbling on us. I don’t think we need a target painted on us.
