Edwards seemed genuinely hurt by the “how dare you demean their sacrifices” line. But as for Cheney’s charisma level, I think it’s somewhere in the “eldritch horror” range. Wow. He comes across as a no-bullshit guy (or would if one didn’t listen to the content of what he says), but he’s the most condescending and unfriendly political debater I’ve ever watched.

I don’t know about that, he made it look like he could defend himself easily, but the format wouldn’t let him, and made it look like he really wanted to but the moderator wouldn’t let him, and passed out an “objective” citation that he knows no-one will bother to check out. The man has skills at debate.
