I own the first few hardcovers, but this comic ridiculously sucks now.

Michonne has always been a hollow joke of a character. The story line got massively decompressed, and the reveals (like Rick’s phone) are like a child’s version of a twist in a Twilight Zone episode. It’s all very soapy and hacky. I see the show skewing as far away from these plot points as possible.

I sort of hope so, actually. There’s a lot about the comics that’s pretty juvenile.
