Upcoming Boston-area Pink Pistols shoots
Due to the sharp increase in demand, the Boston chapter of the Pink Pistols (www.pinkpistols.org) has greatly stepped up our schedule of shooting events. The Pink Pistols are a social shooting organization friendly to those who identify with alternative sexualities. Pink Pistols includes gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, polyamorous, BDSM, and straight members; while we are accepting of subcultures, our events are open to the general public and you do not have to gay (or anything else) to shoot with us.
To shoot socially at a range with us, you do not have to: own a gun, have a license, know how to shoot, have a lot of money, or have a car. We shoot at public ranges where you can rent guns (or borrow ours) and shoot under licensed supervision, and we can give you basic safety instruction and provide rides from the Alewife T Station. You can bring your friends - shooting is fun, not very hard, and addictive! If you want to learn to shoot or just log some more time on the range, come out with us

This Thursday 9/27/01 starting 7pm - Manchester Firing Line
Shoot at the Firing Line range in Manchester, New Hampshire. The Firing Line accomodates and rents pistols, shotguns, some rifles, and submachine guns [which, however impractical, you will eventually need to try to get out of
your system, we understand]. RSVP to jen@darkeros.com. Rides leave from the car pickup port at Alewife at 6pm; for a ride, RSVP to davidr@pinkpistols.org.
This Saturday 9/29/01 starting 2pm - Manchester Firing Line
Shoot at the Firing Line range in Manchester, New Hampshire (as above). RSVP to jen@darkeros.com. Rides may be scheduled if interested; for a ride, RSVP to davidr@pinkpistols.org.
Sunday 10/7/01 starting 2pm - AFS in North Attleboro
Shoot at the American Firearms School (AFS) in North Attleboro, Massachusetts. AFS rents pistol and accomodates pistol and some rifle, and also offers tactical simulator training, which is the absolute best way to get supervised exposure to what a real crisis situation is like.
