I have a degree in microbiology, I work in a clinical molecular laboratory, and I’m going to get my PhD in molecular biology. I flipped through the books for a few minutes, and his claims about DNA were completely nonsensical. I would say that they were demonstrably false, but I honestly couldn’t figure out what his claims were. It was totally incomprehensible. No wonder “WE” don’t want you to be exposed to them.
grin Well since I work in a bookstore, every book sold is good, but I would rather people not continue to live in willful ignorance.

I think some of us learned by reading that book. Learned what NOT to do. His claims are so “out there”.
I’ve got nothing to add here, except that the thread title gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling every time it drifts by.
The part that’s incomprehensible to me is that he seems to have no shred of remorse. He doesn’t seem to care that he’s spreading lies. How can someone be so completely lacking in ethics?

If nothing else, this will give the FTC the ability to close that sole remaining exemption to his television sales ban. Of course he can still appear on talk shows and crap, but with any luck the only places that will ever have him would be public access cable. Though, with any luck, even they would turn him away.

The last time I saw my mother fully herself she wanted to buy me a copy of the Cures book. I told her he was a kook / crook and I wouldn’t accept a book written by him unless it was purchased in a way that he would recieve no royalties. Then she was mad at me the rest of the day.
The next time I saw her she was in the hospital after having a stroke after believing him that she didn’t need her blood pressure medication. A few more strokes and less than two months later she was dead. She never was fully concious after her first stroke.

I was trying to think of a way to explain why I hate him more than John Edwards. John Edwards gives fake comfort to the bereaved. He’s a douchebag and a smarmy sponge off ignorance and all, but Kevin Trudeau is a downright menace to the living.
KT is a billion times worse than Edwards. Edwards provide false comfort to stupid people, but doesn’t actually harm them, and in his own twisted way actually may help some grieving people, albeit with phony bullshit, but his scam is sort of like telling someone their kid died saving a woman from a fire instead of the truth that he died from a heroin overdose, only he charges you for the fake info.
KT on the other hand, causes actual damage to the lives of living people, as per SP2263’s post above. The thing is, KT could dupe a large number of people with vague ambiguities, but he flat out says total off the wall bullshit that he could never worm his way out of if/when the FCC calls him on it- “I can now eat tons of fettucini alfredo and a gallon of ice cream and won’t gain weight”?
I just wish someone would post proof that he has more scripts than Abe Simpson, as he says he hasn’t taken any medication in 25 years.
I bought one of Trudeau’s books for $1 at the Broadway Cares Flea Market. Only out of curiousity and because the money is not going to him, but for a good cause.
It’s mostly crazy new age ideas mixed up with some common sense and a lot of stories about how “they” are against Kevin Trudeau. My favorite sentence in the book in from the chapter on weight loss: After losing the weight you can eat virtually anything and everything you want (with some exceptions).
Please put that in English for me.
