When Kevin “I write books that tell you about stuff ‘they’ don’t want you to know about” Trudeau is on TV lying in infomercials, I really wanna punch the guy in the face and then grab the back of his and bring my knee up and crush his forehead when he leans over in pain.
Well, since I can’t do that, I can revel in the fact that at least someone at the FTC is paying attention.
Happy reading. It’s a brand new press release from the FTC. Click below for information ‘they’ do want you to know about Kevin “Could I be any more annoying?” Trudeau.
The annoying face/person, in case you don’t know him; his face should ring a bell and make you cringe:
His “easy to follow” diet has you taking in only 500 calories a day for 45 days and giving yourself daily injections of medication you have to get overseas?
Wow, I didn’t know that was all you had to do to lose weight!
No it just means that him and his minions will be saying things like, “The FTC is a gomment agency in cahoots with the drug companies (and all doctors, pharmacists, independent labs, etc). They are just trying to suppress the truth!! Damn you idiots for not seeing through this!”
Or something similar.
We had a woman order in a copy of his first book at work. She’s in hospital, being treated for cancer. It was extremely upsetting that she was falling for his harmful quackery.
I’ll provide the handcuffs and the red ants. Stake him down after you finish punching him.
The solution is simple.
Make him follow the diet to the letter…[ul]
[li]He can only eat foods that are 100% organic, with no sweeteners (natural or artificial), no starches (bread, pasta, potatoes, white flour, etc.), no nitrites, and no trans fats.[/li][li]He must limit his exposure to air conditioning and fluorescent lighting[/li][li]get 15 “colonics” from a licensed colon therapist during a 30-day period[/li][li]walk outside for one continuous hour each day[/li][li]get daily injections of a prescription drug that is not approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration for weight loss[/li][li]maintain a 500 calorie/day diet for 21 to 45 days[/li][li]he cannot use any medicines, including over-the-counter and prescription drugs, most cosmetics, and no creams, lotions, or moisturizers[/li][li]take homeopathic human growth hormone[/li][li]oh, and if he ever gets cancer: “his calcium product can cure cancer and other serious diseases”[/li][li]and if he’s ever in pain, his : “purported analgesic called Biotape could permanently cure or relieve severe pain”[/li][/ul]
Not quite. There may be some uses for new age treatments. He takes it to the next level and “promises” that his natural cures will work. He doesn’t, like others do, suggest that something might work, he crosses the line and almost guarantees that they will work.
I’ve got a natural remedies book at home that incorporates OTC meds with doctor visits AND some forms of natural treatments. At least it gives you a choice.
I’ve also got Trudeau’s book (from a rummage sale, I believe $.25) and it’s laughably biased to the extreme in its support of natural remedies for diseases and chronic illnesses.
His treatments are bullshit anyway. Most of them say “Do everything in chapter 6 and then blah, blah, blah…”
Even if you ignore the so-called “information” he dispesses, Trudeau should be jailed for his unscrupous business practices. Take a quick look at the complaints against him at Consumer Affairs
Recently, he organized and 8-ball pool tournament (yes 8-ball), promised the biggest payouts in history…got all the top players to show up…and guess what?
Yes, I know you are stunned to learn that he hasn’t actually been able to pay out the huge am’ts of money he promised and now is in hot water. I would link it if I wasn’t completely lazy right now.
Because of this thread I tried to talk someone out of buying this book. I mentioned the 500 calories and non-FDA approved drugs. She just laughed and handed me the money. Some people just don’t listen.
